Church, hospice events help community

Grace Episcopal Church hosted a Neighborhood Safety Fair on April 28. Residents from across Fairfield had the opportunity to come out and meet other community members while learning about resources offered by different community service agencies.

The Fairfield Police Department distributed information about important community programs: Neighborhood Watch and Parent Project. In addition, the Fairfield Fire Department provided information about the Community Emergency Response Training program.

Around 30 children were fingerprinted and had their photos taken; giving parents another tool to protect their children.

Great job to the congregation at Grace Episcopal Church for looking out for the community and the children. It’s great to see a local residents ensuring the safety of the most important individuals in a neighborhood.
